My nephew, who is barely 2 years old, has caught it, unfortunately. He caught from his grandmother, who always takes cares of him when his father or mother is too busy. That means I have two relatives that are afflicted with the virus. =[
In case you want to know, these cases are from Massachusetts, USA.

there have been few deaths in the U.S. due to the H1N1 swine flu epidemic. from what has been found out, it seems that it is only lethal to those with weak or developing immune systems-- that is, if an elder person or a baby were to get it, they may be in trouble. as since your nephew is 2 years old, i would say, that yes, he does have a chance from dying from it (sorry about that). however, there's still hope. have him brought to a doctor or someone who can perhaps give him a shot or something to help him recover or be immune to the virus's effects.

I am sure he'll be fine. Have your grandmother and nephew been diagnosed by a blood test with the swine flu? If so then they'll get the best care for this particular virus from their specific doctors. I wish them both good luck and God Bless.
The only reason I ask about the blood work, is because these people must be reported to the CDC so that they can keep track of where this virus is. They have a larger chance than healthy adults and yound adults. Infants and older people always have a high risk of death from disease.
