With in 24 Hrs.
The symptoms of swine flu in people are similar to the symptoms of regular human flu and include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue. Some people have reported diarrhea and vomiting associated with swine flu. In the past, severe illness (pneumonia and respiratory failure) and deaths have been reported with swine flu infection in people. Like seasonal flu, swine flu may cause a worsening of underlying chronic medical conditions.
State # of laboratory

California 7 cases
Kansas 2 cases

What is swine flu?
It is a respiratory disease affecting pigs that is caused by type A influenza virus. Most outbreaks occur during the late fall and winter months, similar to influenza outbreaks in humans.
Does it affect humans?
Swine flu viruses very rarely affect humans. However, sporadic human infections with swine flu have occurred. These cases commonly occur in people with direct exposure to pigs.
How does it spread to humans?
It spreads to humans mainly through contact with infected pigs.
Can people catch swine flu from eating pork?
There is currently no evidence to suggest that swine flu can be transmitted to humans from eating pork or pork products that have been thoroughly cooked.
What are the symptoms?
The symptoms of swine flu are similar to the symptoms of regular influenza. An early symptom is high fever, and this is followed by cough, sore throat, runny nose, and sometimes breathlessness a few days later.
How can the infections be diagnosed?
A respiratory specimen would be collected within the first four to five days of illness, when the infected person is most likely to be shedding the virus. However, some, especially children, may shed the virus for 10 days or longer.
What medications are available to treat the infection?
There are four different antiviral drugs that are licensed for use in Singapore: amantadine, rimantadine, oseltamivir and zanamivir.
While most swine flu viruses have been susceptible to all four drugs, the most recent swine flu viruses isolated from humans are resistant to amantadine and rimantadine. At this time, the US CDC recommends the use of oseltamivir (Tamiflu) or zanamivir (Relenza) for the treatment and/or prevention of infection with swine flu viruses.

1 .........
The incubation time for swine flu is believed to be pretty short - 48-72 hours, and the virus seems to spread easily between people.
2......
The first confirmed death involved a woman who succumbed from swine flu April 13 in southern Oaxaca state.

people take this like a simple illness, once a virus is spreaded, it cannot be stoped, it would take years to heal, it can be spreaded on food, by birds, birds are everywhere, birds have contact with tress which than air comes and spread it to the air.... the epidimic started in mexico because people live so close together, and they walk on the streets, is not like USA where you get to places by car, most people in mexico go by walking, thats why there is lots of people dying over there, NOONE knows how many people have the flu, 1 organizasion cannot tell how many people have the flu, there could be millions by now,

My mother told me that your most likely to spread the sickness when you dont even realize that you have them, so bascilly you'd be spreading it and not even know it until about 2 or 3 days later symptoms show
Also its Hitting other countries too like Austraila,New Zeland for sure, and in Paris/France ect.

just recently on MSN and the World Health Organization, they say that the swine flu virus can last up to seven days on a human, and they will not experience symptoms, and still pass the virus on. so about 2-7 days after a person is infected, will they experience symptoms

It varies. The problem is knowing when you were exposed. You could be exposed to the virus and never know it. When do you start counting days. Here is a helpful article, it looks like around 1-5 days.http://www.livestrong.com/article/5408-n…

I read it might have started as soon as February/March, supposedly a lot of people died in Mexico because of Pneumonia but I believe some cases were identified as swine flu.
I'm not sure though..

The flu started like two weeks ago I think.
The symptoms occur probably after a day or so. You won't immediately know it though.

death people by the flue had previous complications or didn't pay attention to severe symptoms (like after 4 days of 101+ fever).

I think it takes seven to ten days. The students in NY contacted the disease while on Spring Break in Mexico. The vacation ended March 21, or there abouts.

You won't feel any symptoms, you will die as soon as you're infected. Your blood will fill your lungs and you will drown.
