Yesterday 4/27/09 we had a small discassion in one of my highschool classes on how the swine flu crossed from pigs to humans. Three ways were given first that an infacted pig was eaten (poor meat quality in mexico). The virus mutated into a strand that could effect humans. or a human got a little to personal with a pig? wich answer, if any, is true and if none are how did it happen?

The swine flu virus is being transferred in form of little fluid particles (droplets) from the lungs (coughing) from pigs to humans. It is therefore airborne. Then it is further spreading from human to humans if the environment (humidity) is suitable for the virus. Viruses that infect pigs need not mutate to infect humans, too. If one avoids people who cough a lot or protects oneself with breathing masks, the probability of infection is dramatically reduced. Cleanliness (washing hands with disinfectants) is very important.

It is NOT "swine" flu. It is a mix of Avian,Swine, and Regular human flu, and possibly a fourth variant. It is not a " naturally" occurring virus. It is an engineered virus. Most likely by a bio-weapons facility.

Pay attention, use your head, and think for yourself. Quit watching the magic box.

The Mexican health agency acknowledged that the original disease vector of the virus may have been flies multiplying in manure lagoons of pig farms near Perote, Veracruz.i guess that means that fly's could have been the culprit here also
