Many countries have banned imports on pork. BUT, many countries have slaughtered pigs because of this.
So my question is, did the swine flu have a positive or negative effect on pigs?

Many pigs were slaughtered mostly because of much misinformation about and the name given to the current strain of flu.
From the point of view of those that eat pork, I guess they would see it as a positive as they could buy pork cheaper.
From the point of view of those that don't support the killing of animals for food, a negative.
If the pig could talk, I would venture that they would say that it was a total negative from their viewpoint.

Bad, obviously. Swine flu makes them sick. Sick pigs are generally killed. The ban on pork doesn't save any lives. Swine flu isn't passed on by eating pork.

bad. dumb people will start killing as many pigs as they can and people were sick. there wont be very people who will consider that just maybe the swine flu spread because of the pigs living conditions. that would be to inconvenient for them.
