it seems CNN isn't disclosing the probable case count anymore, only the confirmed ones. can anyone link this to me or just tell me the most recent figure? thanks.

We dont know how prominent it is and how fast it spreads or how deadly it is, so its very hard to estimate, they dont want to start mass panic. BTW the other day they had 'the first person to die in the US of swine flu' well it was a mexican who came over the border to get help, so technically it was in the US but they were'nt a US citizen

I believe the suspected death toll is a little over 150 in Mexico, and one in the U.S. That's what I saw somewhere a few days ago. Not sure what it's like now, though apparently it is stablising there. Then again, a lot of the Mexicans could have had the regular flu, as very few of those have been confirmed.

The swine flu is at 1 and that one was a mexican toddler living in Texas. There is that one confirmed death for the United States. You don't need to worry about numbers in other countries.http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=2...

Mexico has revised down the suspected death toll from swine flu from 176 to 101, indicating that the outbreak may not be as bad as was initially feared.
