All this panic is pathetic!
Why is everyone getting all paranoid and worried over nothing?
You are more likely to die of regular flu, the government is trying to make things seem far worse then what they actually are as they have nothing else (other then the recession) to talk about, it's all just the media overly exaggerating... remember bird flu?
And I'm sick of people who "think" they have it. Honestly people get a grip, the world is not ending only seek real help if you actually need it. I have seen so many questions today on people who claim they have contracted the disease.

Worrying is what will jolt people into doing their part: being hygienic and not infecting other people if they get sick. If our actions are successful, people like you will say, "See, it wasn't a big deal." But people panicking and taking it seriously are what will keep it from being a big deal. We don't want to ignore it and find out how bad it can truly get, which is one some people seem to advocate when they say they don't care and aren't going to do anything differently. It's a few seconds of your time to make sure you wash your hands and cover coughs/sneezes with a tissue.

You are 100% right.
Flu has been around for ever in one form or another.
I suppose bad news makes headlines.
If people asking on here if they had flu, they wouldn't be typing on a computer if they really had flu.
There is another post today quoting the number of deaths from flu and saying people forgret the figures for those dying from cancer, heart disease etc etc.
