At this time there are no cases of the flu in Belgium at all, and it is very likely that there will be non or very few when you actually travel.
As far as I have heard there are also no cases in France, but even if there are a few, it will be very few indeed.
Do not worry. Your teachers will keep an eye on the situation, but I think there will be no reason not to travel.

The Swine flu comes from USA & Mexico not from Belgium!
But beware of places with a lot of people like airports & air plains(air conditioning) & train stations.
And also beware when the gouvernement says it's all safe, then it's really time to worry! Remember the deads it already took......

250,000 to 500,000 people die every year in the world from ordinary flu. Belgium has enough Tamiflu in the cupboards to cure people who caught the flu. As long as you take the medicine within 2 days, you're OK. I live in Belgium and I'm flying to the States on holidays in the coming days !

But serious: you are never safe, so it doesn't matter where you are.
