Yeah I have a similar problem, sorta. My dad is coming home from NY on Saturday and I'm scared that he's gonna bring the virus to Florida! But that's just me cuz I have germophobia and I was literally forced to go to school today! But I think you should go, I went there last year! It's awesome! :)

Go and enjoy yourself. Staying where you are only means you are 13% less likely to get swine flu. and that % is going to constantly lower over the next few weeks.

Go ahead, just kinda be cautious. Maybe try to sit alone if you ride the bus or subway or something. Make sure to wash your hands every now and then while you're out and about. Any little thing you can think of that would lower your risk of getting ANY kind of infection would be good. And keep contact with others to a minimum (you can do this without seeming weird or rude)

Go, have fun. Just keep your hands washed.
Remember that flu incubates for about 2 weeks, so once you're gone from NY don't slack off on the safety ... keep your hands washed and remember you could be carrying the virus even if you're not sick yet... so don't go breathing on old people for a while.
The human-to-human strain isn't that bad. Be aware that you could contract it, be aware that you can carry it long before showing symptoms (that's how it spreads so easily), and maintain basic cleanliness. If you have symptoms, go to a doctor.
