Just wondering because it has been said that the whole swine flu thing is just a media hype to distract us all from taxes, global warming and all the other problems our little world seems to have these days. I know people have died and that's bad but is it as serious as the media are claiming or are we just panicking over something fairly mild?

Pandemic, I Don't Know All of Them, Actual HUMAN Diseases, AIDS, HCV, HSV, HPV, HAV, for Some of the Viruses, But Bacterial Diseases, Parasitic Diseases and Fungal Diseases, Look to Be Major, But Not Necessarily Pandemic.

An avian flue is not a new disease in the world. It is a zooneses that has re-emerge after being present in the world over several decades. But now all the world attention has been turned towards it as something very strange and a lot of money is invested in trying to find the effective vaccine, and probably later a vaccine will be developed and put in the market and all people will be required to be vaccinated as a measure to combart this disease.But what happened before, what is happening now without such a vaccine?
The disease was just an epidemic (to human beings) in certain parts of china and later to some few countries in asia. What about other parts of the world? In europe, africa and america has remain to be disease of birds and are the only one reported dead in these areas. So what do you think?

How do all these people think their roads, hospitals, schools, police, army are financed?

I have all but 4 areas infected or completely destroyed. How do I get the disease to spread to these four areas. If it helps any the areas are: Cuba, Japan, South America, and Madagascar.

So far eighty people have died in Mexico. Swine flu has been seen in California, Kansas, Texas, New York, Minnesota from people who have been in Mexico recently.

Is it because mexico is a poor country and the people who have died cant afford hospital treatment or anti viral drugs?
