PostHeaderIcon Is It True That The Swine Flu Is Only Deadly To Those With Weak Immune Systems?

I read that the most reported deaths as a result of the swine flu have occurred in people with either severe long-term diseases or impaired immune systems although there is always risk of anyone becoming infected. So does this mean that swine flu is fatal to the elderly and to young children?
Apparently, there have been 141 deaths out of 27,737 cases.

that is completely correct. I currently have swine flu and I am a 14 year old American so i am expected to recover and be good as new. From my experience it has been worse than the regular flu but just the same symptoms merely stronger. but unless you have a weak immune system you should recover well

yes it it more fatal to the elderyly and little children, but even very healthy people around 20 can still get sick and be put in fatal conditions. But in the US you can get treated and make it out alive. The swine flu in america will just be like a regular flu, but in other countries were help isnt as close or as good. They will experience the full blast of swine flu, and die easier.

Swine flu is suppose to be milder than regular flu which kills at least 350,000 people per year in the world. But to answer your question, even a regular cold can be dangerous to a weak immune system. In general, people who don't stay fit and/or eat well have a higher chance of succumbing to the flu.

Well if that is what you read then it is probably true.
It is not anymore fatal than the regular flu. People are really in a panic over this and it is ridiculous.
I know someone who got a very mild case of the flu...and he died. It affected his kidneys and he died.
I know people who die of freak accidents that you would never think of....
when it is your time to go...you are going to go. Everyone is dying from the day they are born...some go quicker and some later. Everyone dies of different things!
when you stop to think of the stats of the swine flu..this is not serious. Think of the BILLIONS OF PEOPLE IN THE WORLD...this is a very small portion of the population.

Not 100% sure. Apparently there are less deaths that normal flue a year.

i would still be concerned about getting it but apparently they aren't too concerned about people with healthy immune systems dying but if you get symptoms or know anyone who does you still need to go to the hospital it is a severe respiratory flu and can cause complications to any one who isnt treated
