I just got back from Mexico and I think it is the best time to go down there! We had a group of 15 go down there and not one of us got sick . You could have the chance to have the beach all to yourself because no one is traveling. Good luck its the best vacation I have ever had(and I go on vac alot!)
The statue of Edgar Hernandez is located in the central park of La Gloria, a pig-farming village in the mountains where some people claimed the virus originated due to the big pig ranch in the town.
Although many town residents had become ill, it was 5 year old Edgar Hernandez who became the first person diagnosed with the illness and survived after taking antibiotics. The statue will be a symbol of hope for all those that become ill from the virus.

I live in Australia and the Swine Flu is apparently yet to arrive here and I would like to know how threatening it is to your life if you do not seek medical attention? Also, If your a healthy person, is it possible for your body to be able to successfully fight off the Swine Flu should it infect you? Are there cures or drugs available to fight off or make you immune to the Swine Flu?
I read that the most reported deaths as a result of the swine flu have occurred in people with either severe long-term diseases or impaired immune systems although there is always risk of anyone becoming infected. So does this mean that swine flu is fatal to the elderly and to young children?

Yes badly. And according to the Wall Street Journal there is likely more pain on the way.

Yes it did hurt..im not sure how much but it was noticeable. The clubs lost alot of revenue from when the stadiums were closed..and even when they could only have half full stadiums..alot of the revenue the teams make rely on ticket sales. Not only ticket sales..but concession stands...no one to buy from the concession stands..all this adds up, and im pretty sure the owners felt it in their pockets.
