Also, the swine virus brought in through the east coast was from a group of teenagers who went to Mexico during their spring break.

Most documented cases I have seen were brought from people vacationing in Mexico. Some of the California cases are likely from illegals.

i don't know how it wa brought hee could be from people vacationing in mexico. they found the 5 year ld boy in mexico who had it first. he was so sick. he survived. the news asked the mother if she thinks it came from a pig farm not far from them. she said she thinks it did. thank god the child survived it.
i read another report that mexico new of this virus and didn't report it right away.

I do have proof that it was already in America though, for quite some time!
From the CDC site;
From December 2005 through February 2009, a total of 12 human infections with swine influenza were reported from 10 states in the United States.

No solid facts so far. Now they think maybe Texas or California.I don't know and obviously nobody else knows for certain either where it started
But like La Mojada said,there were cases of the swine flu already in the US before the outbreak in Mexico even started March 2009!

There is no documentation yet. But common sense dictates that if something can kill you don't let it into the country if possible. Or at least don't let any more in! But that's just common sense!

Different virus Einstein! Swine flu has been around for ages! First isolated in 1930! Swine flu is actually a number of different flues in a certain group called swine flu. It is not just one virus. Keep reading!

Virus doesn't know the difference between legal and illegal or native and visitor. I betcha whoever spread it to New Zealand, Asia and Canada wasn't an illegal immigrant. This entire theory of "illegal alien brings swine flu" is purported by Right wing conservatives to encourage closing of the border. No conservatives will even consider the extreme likelihood that U.S citizens vacationing in Mexico could have brought it here or the businessmen that outsource to Mexico or any of the hundreds of Americans that return from Mexico with prescription drugs and steroids on a daily basis. I am in favor of tightening security at the border, but, I would not use swine flu as the excuse!

Not a single shred of evidence. In fact, quite the opposite. All investigated cases so far have been by legal travellers, mostly Americans who were holidaying or conducting business in Mexico.
The great sadness - although not a great surprise - is that people here and elsewhere are using the swine flu as a tool to further their anti-illegals (and it has to be said, in some cases, just simply anti-Hispanic) agenda.
There are people dying, including small children such as the one who died in the US yesterday. This has nothing to do with illegal immigration - there is zero connection - and everything to do with human loss and family tragedy.
I suppose it would be asking too much for the anti-illegals types to put aside the axe they have to grind for once, and have some kind of common humanity and respect for those who are suffering. Don't worry, I already know the answer to that question.
