Is Anyone Else Totally Worried About Swine Flu Making Its Way To Their
State And Infecting Our Children?

I am so freaked about this new swine flu making its way around. I just read that a 23 month old Texan child just died today. I have a 25 month old child and one on the way! I am so so entirely scared. They wont be able to make a vaccine for several months and I am worried by then that it will of spread like wildfire and we wont be able to leave the house! What do you all think of this epidemic!?

yes i am worried too. this is how its going to be until the vaccine comes out which takes months. i hope they make it soon because its a pandemic out there.
na the teacher said is just another flu like normal but scientist just wanna protect people not a big deal...but is better to not have it than have it dont u think???

Thats what I'm most worried about.
I mean, everyone just started enjoying the weather, and this is what pops up.
I find it odd how once the economy was showing signs of improving, this comes up, which could possibly make things even more screwed up and unleash the crazies again.
I think it would be unnormal for everyone to not go into freakout mode.
I am really worried about it. I have a 17 month old daughter and she seems to catch everything that goes around. I don't know what to do!! I don't want to leave the house or take her out of the house. I even want to get one of them surgical masks and where it everywhere. They said the pandemic is imminent..and 60% of mexico got it and 152 died from it...I'm so scared i almost want to cry ...I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO and im really paranoid...i hope this all stops really soon.
I usually never worry about things like this but for some reason I am a little concerned. My kids are both in school and my 6 year old seems to catch EVERYTHING that is going around. And now they just confirmed the first case of the swine flu in MN and I live in MN. It is in a city that is probably about an hour away from me. If anyone in my kids' school gets it they are staying home with me and we wont leave for about a week or 2. I am not going to let anything happen to my kids. This is horrible.
Yes I am also worried that my cute little sister will be infected. But she dosen't understand the seriousness of the problem. If you thought you have any disease right now I would suggest avoud contact with tings that arent just used by you. First call a doctor, it's the best thing to start with. What ever you do only see the doctor if you made a scheduled appointment because if you had it you might be infecting someone else. If you called first, they can be prepared.
