Will people who have stored up food and other supplies to see them through the "waves" of the pandemic, become a target and victimized by those who did not prepare for this crisis? What are some tips to survive the human predator when the pandemic is underway?

Will E said...: It sounds like you're expecting the end of civilization as we know it. Calm down. Its not going to happen that way. Bird Flu can be treated with existing drugs to a degree, and they have promising bird flu vaccines in the works.
Theres a few things you need to remember about Bird Flu before you start stockpiling in a cellar and buying a gun. First off, when a strain of flu moves from animal to human and human to human, it generally loses a degree of lethality if it had it to begin with. And that doesn't even account for becoming airborne which, again, might not happen. People who are getting bird flu are in constant physical contact with their poultry. Its direct contact.

melindar said...: It is a scary thing to think about. I don't think enough familys are prepared for a pandemic. No one has gone thru one since the plague and people now are just use to going to the store when ever they need. I think it it does happen some where close to the half way point people will get deserate enough to rob from others. After all the only place that will be ablt to stay in business for long is the medical community because they are the ones to get the vaccine first, due to the fact that they will be the life line for most people. People will get to the point were they will not go to work cause they will not chance coming in contact with a infected person. Food will run low because drivers will not be willing to drivew into a infected town. Communitys all over the counrty will come crashing down like dominos. And think about law inforcement either there will not be enough to protect or they won't protect well due to them not wanting to be infected it will be a shoot first at a distance, find out later. But the worst of all is how will communitys deal with the dead? The only way to handle the large amount of deaths with out spreading the disease even more is burning the bodies. It the way to discribe what would happen with the pandemic is watch a dawn of the dead moive,minus the waling dead there will be no one around and the ones that will be will be out for them selves and no one else. I am not even sure someone can prepare for something like this mostly because it could last for 5 years or so before the disease dwindles away.; May 14, 2009 at 3:13 AM

Do NOT get vaccinated.
A vaccinated person is MORE likely to get a disease than a non-vaccinated person. The whole theory of vaccination is flawed. It causes a weakening of the immune system thus making those who are innoculated more susceptible to disease.
There are so many awful side effects to vaccination that it should be considered extremely dangerous.
Just sit back and think for a while.
Is there any sense in injecting a disease directly into the bloodstream.
We have been subjected to an awful mind control program to enable the drug manufacturers to make a fortune.
