Basically, Airborne is concocted of common household herbs to help boost your immune system. However, any infection can still be contracted from one individual to another despite taking any preventative measures - especially if the germs are transmitted through bodily fluids, such as coughing, sneezing, vomiting, etc.
So, taking Airborne as a supplement does not protect you from any virus. However, with a healthy and sanitary lifestyle, you can increase your chances of not getting sick at all. That, and staying away from people.

The Public Health Agency of Canada has listed this on its website (last modified April 26)
"Vaccine
A vaccine is any preparation intended to produce immunity to a disease by stimulating the production of antibodies. Canada has a plan for a vaccine to be produced domestically if a pandemic occurs, which will take about six months once the virus is identified. Enough pandemic vaccine will be produced to cover all Canadians."
Now that the virus has been declared a pandemic, what action is the government taking?

My partner has to go to a work conference in an office where there has been a swine flu case. He is hoping that it will cancelled on account of this, however if it isn't, what is the best way for him to protect himself against sickness? He is in very good health, but I want to put my own mind at rest. Thank you.

Just recently my brothers and sisters are having fears of the swine flu and they are afraid of going back to school they are scared because they can get the flu like disease called the swine flu.
Is there a way for my brothers and sisters as well as niece and nephews to protect themselves during school hours since there's a chance of an outbreak otherwise the best thing i can think of is not sending them to school until i make sure its been contain.

What supplies should we have? And how much for a family of 10? Should we be prepared to quarantine ourselves for at least 3 to 6 months once the Avian Flu is in our area of the US? If most of the normal daily functions in our society are interrupted, won't this cause the people who didn't prepare themselves to act out in abnormal ways, such as threatening others and stealing when they run out of what little food and medicine, etc. they had in their homes? And with police and other law enforcement agencies looking out for their own families and quarantining themselves, too, won't we have to be in a position to protect ourselves and our families from those that could try to do us harm because they are desparate to provide for their own families?
