I notice I've been oinking lately like a pig, might I have the swine flu?

Talk of the swine flu turning into an epidemic has gotten a lot of attention and a few people that I've spoken to seem a little worried. Do you think some people, media included, are blowing this way out of proportion, or do you think everyone should be concerned?

Do you think this could be it? The end of the world, where the swine flu will continue to spread throughout the world, killing the majority, if not all the population?

It's possible that if the virus mutates somehow it can become lethal, but so far it does not carry any deadly genes. The reason all those people died in Mexico was because of inadequate health care and poor hygenic conditions. The H1N1 virus is nothing more than a different strain of the common flu bug.

I'm doing an essay for school, and I couldnt find what the most likely diseases to cause a global pandemic. So I was wodnering if anyone had any ideas?
I already know Influenza and Eblola, but it would still be nice to have a top 5 list. And I'll be mad if anyone says Anthrax, because that cannot cause a GLOBAL pandemic.
